Freelance Quantity Surveyor – Industrial & Logistics Project
📍 Gloucester
📅 6 Month Contract
💼 Outside IR35

We are currently looking for an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join a major £100m Industrial & Logistics development based in Gloucester.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a large-scale, high-profile scheme with a well-established contractor, supporting the commercial team through a key stage of delivery.

The Role

You will play a key role in the commercial management of the project, supporting the delivery team and ensuring packages are procured and managed effectively.

Key responsibilities will include:

  * 

    Managing variations and change control

  * 

    Preparing commercial recommendation reports

  * 

    Supporting the procurement of major subcontract packages

  * 

    Managing subcontractor accounts and commercial performance

  * 

    Working closely with the site and project management teams

  * 

    Ensuring robust cost control and reporting

Requirements

  * 

    Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on Industrial & Logistics projects

  * 

    Strong experience with procurement of major packages

  * 

    Experience managing variations and subcontractor accounts

  * 

    Ability to work collaboratively with project and delivery teams

  * 

    Previous experience on large-scale construction projects
