Job Description

A well-established contractor is looking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a £20m façade remediation scheme based in Brighton, with the project located directly next to the main railway station.

This is an excellent opportunity for a degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor to join a busy project team, reporting into an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor, and playing a key role in the commercial delivery of a major remediation project.

The Role

You will support the commercial management of a £20m façade remediation project, assisting with procurement, subcontractor management, cost reporting and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Supporting the Senior Quantity Surveyor with the commercial management of the project

  * 

    Managing subcontractor procurement and packages

  * 

    Preparing cost reports and valuations

  * 

    Assisting with variations and final accounts

  * 

    Monitoring project costs and ensuring commercial performance

Requirements

  * 

    Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (essential)

  * 

    Previous experience working for a main contractor

  * 

    Background working with a Tier 2 contractor preferred

  * 

    Façade remediation or façade package experience strongly preferred

  * 

    Currently operating at Project Quantity Surveyor level

  * 

    Must live within a 45-minute commute of Brighton

Package

  * 

    Salary: £65,000 all-in

  * 

    22 days holiday + bank holidays

  * 

    Private healthcare provided after successful completion of 6-month probation

  * 

    Long-term 2-year project on a £20m scheme

  *
