Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor. It concerns a NEC4 Professional Services Contract specialist to support a major defence‑related infrastructure programme in Glasgow. You’ll play a key role in contract administration, commercial governance and change management within a highly regulated, SC‑cleared environment. This is a hybrid position requiring regular on‑site presence and strong stakeholder engagement across a joint‑venture delivery model.

What you will need

Extensive, hands‑on experience with NEC4, ideally the Professional Services Contract (PSC), including early warnings, compensation events and contract administration.
Current SC clearance or the ability to obtain it, and British nationality due to project restrictions.
Strong commercial, contractual and project controls capability within large, complex infrastructure or defence programmes.
Ability to operate confidently within a joint‑venture environment, managing multiple stakeholders and maintaining contractual compliance.
Proven experience working inside IR35 on long‑term programmes, with the ability to work on‑site in Glasgow 3–5 days per week as required.
