Job Description

Hybrid/Remote Working: Hybrid

Hours of work: 37 hours per week

Role information:

  * Provide commercial support across projects, including bid governance, change management, compensation events, and contractual notices

  * Ensure compliance with internal procedures and contract requirements, liaising with HoC, SQS, and clients

  * Support Project Managers with all commercial aspects of project delivery

  * Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  * Interpret and apply head contract terms, ensuring flow-down to subcontractors

  * Monitor contract compliance and implement corrective actions where required

  * Develop and support procurement strategies to meet project timelines, budgets, and risk requirements

  * Identify, manage, and mitigate commercial and supply chain risks

  * Lead sourcing and tendering processes, ensuring well-defined work packages and appropriate contract terms

  * Manage subcontractor performance, claims, and post-contract commercial activities

  * Ensure timely issuance of contractual notices and proper documentation of variations and claims

  * Review and validate subcontractor compensation events and invoices, certifying payments

  * Support agreement of final accounts with subcontractors

  * Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and site teams to track progress and variations

  * Promote commercial best practices and provide guidance to project teams

  * Escalate key commercial risks and issues to senior management with proposed solutions

Qualifications/Experience Required

  * Extensive working knowledge of NEC3 or NEC4

UK National Security Vetting Status – Ability to gain SC Clearance - Candidate must be a British National due to the nature of the project
