The Role — A Genuine Blank Page

This is a true green-field opportunity: you'll be building this region from scratch. There is no existing patch to inherit, no legacy accounts to manage — you'll be establishing the relationships, the distributor network, and the specification pipeline from day one. What You'll Do

  * Build the company's presence across Ireland from the ground up — establishing new relationships with contractors, specifiers, architects and fire engineers across the region

  * Drive specification and adoption of the FireStop and cavity barrier systems, alongside the wider fixings portfolio (chemical anchors, mechanical fixings, insulation and ETICS fixings, renovation/strengthening systems)

  * Establish and grow a distributor and merchant partner network across the territory, essentially from zero

  * Deliver technical presentations, CPD seminars, and on-site product training to build market credibility

  * Identify and convert new business opportunities, supporting major and complex construction projects from specification through to installation

  * Provide technical guidance on product selection, fire compliance, and system performance

  * Work closely with technical, marketing and customer service teams to shape the Ireland strategy as it develops

  * Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions and trade bodies across Ireland, establishing brand presence in the market

What You'll Bring

Essential

  * Proven technical sales experience within construction fixings, fire protection, or a closely related building products category

  * Strong technical understanding of fixing systems and/or passive fire protection (cavity barriers, firestopping)

  * Confident engaging with specifiers, architects, fire engineers and main contractors at a technical level

  * Track record of winning specification and managing the full sales cycle on technical, project-based work

  * Genuine appetite for building a territory from scratch, not just managing an existing one

  * Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across Ireland

Desirable

  * Experience with rainscreen and cladding systems, or flat roofing build-up and subframes

  * Existing relationships within the Irish construction, fire protection, or specification market

  * Formal qualification or training in passive fire protection/firestopping

  * Experience with CPD delivery and technical training

Working Conditions

Field-based, covering the whole of the Republic of Ireland, with regular travel to customer sites, merchant partners, and industry events. Some overnight stays will be required to cover the full territory effectively.
