Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Repairs Surveyor to deliver a high-quality property maintenance and repairs service across a large housing and corporate property portfolio.

The successful Repairs Surveyor will be responsible for diagnosing building defects, managing contractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Managing and monitoring day-to-day repairs for domestic and commercial buildings.

  * Undertaking property inspections and surveys, diagnosing faults and specifying works.

  * Liaising with contractors and housing officers to ensure timely, cost-effective repairs.

  * Supporting colleagues with technical advice on complex maintenance issues.

  * Overseeing safety inspections and ensuring compliance with regulations.

  * Preparing reports on disrepair and insurance claims, acting as an expert witness where required.

  * Identifying tenant recharge works and assisting with budget management.

  * Keeping accurate digital records and contributing to continuous service improvement.
