💰 £26,666 - £30,351 (plus approx £3,000 due to a night premium)
🤩 Based on a 3-week rolling rota

We're looking for compassionate and committed Residential Children & Young Peoples Workers for our beautiful new Emotional Well-being Assessment home in Hinckley that will support children & young people aged between 8-18 providing short term placements until their needs are fully appraised and understood. The service will provide up to 3 service users at any one-time providing opportunities to enjoy different experiences, establish friendships and develop confidence, independence and social/emotional skills.

What you'll be doing. Every day brings something different. You'll:
✨ To build trust and develop nurturing relationships which promote the service user's independence, wellbeing, strengths, and capabilities.
✨ To work in partnership and build relationships with parents/carers and other professionals.
✨ To contribute to the upkeep of the home including cooking, cleaning etc.
✨ To document information accurately and ensure records are kept up to date.
✨ To ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are adhered to.
✨ To promote, monitor and maintain a safe environment at all times.

We're looking for someone who:
Is a driver.
Holds (or is willing to work towards) a Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
Be motivated to make a positive impact in young people's lives.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
Relevant experience working with children & young people in a children's home setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Is flexible to work shifts, sleep-ins, weekends and bank holidays.
