To provide excellent customer service, maintain high shop standards, and support the day-to-day running of the store to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Greet customers in a friendly, approachable manner
• Assist customers with product enquiries and purchases
• Operate tills accurately, handling cash and card payments
• Replenish stock, rotate products, and maintain displays
• Keep the shop floor, stockroom, and tills clean and tidy
• Follow all company procedures, including health & safety and security
• Check deliveries and report any discrepancies
• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when required
• Work as part of a team to meet sales targets and store goals
Skills & Experience
• Previous retail experience preferred but not essential
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
