This is an exciting opportunity for a Revenue Controller to join a professional services company in Birmingham. The role requires a proactive individual to manage revenue processes within the accounting and finance department effectively.

Description
Partner with fee-earning teams to boost profitability, improve working capital, and encourage best financial practices.
Lead monthly WIP reviews and ensure accurate billing forecasts.
Maintain matters, including closing dormant accounts, write-offs, and aged balances.
Reassign matters for leavers or inactive fee earners and improve data quality
Monitor timesheet completion and share insights to drive timely submissions.
Work with the wider finance team to develop KPIs that drive sustainable growth.
Support debt ledger management alongside fee earners and Credit Control.
Build strong relationships across the business and act as the go-to for financial queries.
Assess financial risks and opportunities, and contribute to shaping the Revenue Controller strategy.Profile
A successful Revenue Controller should have:
Experience in a similar finance role, ideally within the legal sector.
Strong business partnering skills with senior and non-financial colleagues.
High attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Confident identifying areas of value leakage and implementing improvements.
Excellent communication and influencing skills.
Results-driven, proactive, and able to work independently or collaboratively.Job Offer
