Job Description

Stephen James Consulting is working with a family-run care provider to recruit a nurse-qualified Home Manager for a medium-sized service in Oxfordshire.

This is a key leadership role within a home rated CQC Outstanding, requiring a strong, hands-on manager to stabilise leadership, strengthen compliance, and drive occupancy following a recent Deputy Manager vacancy.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Manage the day-to-day running of the home and ensure high-quality clinical care delivery

  * Maintain and uphold Outstanding-level CQC compliance and governance standards

  * Provide visible, hands-on leadership to support and develop the staff team

  * Drive occupancy and overall service performance

  * Promote a positive culture aligned with a supportive family-run provider

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  * RGN qualification with active NMC PIN

  * Previous Home Manager or strong Deputy Manager experience

  * Strong understanding of CQC standards and regulatory compliance

  * Confident, hands-on leadership style with a focus on quality and improvement
