Job Description

A well‑established and growing company is seeking an experienced Sales Administrator to join their friendly, fast‑paced team. This is a varied and rewarding role where you will play a key part in ensuring day‑to‑day sales operations run smoothly.

You’ll be responsible for processing orders, updating internal systems, supporting customers, and working closely with colleagues across multiple departments. The business supplies technical products across the UK and internationally, and is known for strong training, supportive managers, and long‑term career development.

As a Sales Administrator, your key responsibilities will include:

  * Processing customer orders, updating internal systems, and issuing order confirmations

  * Handling customer correspondence via phone and email

  * Preparing and processing export documentation

  * Communicating shipping details, ETAs, and updates to customers and internal teams

  * Supporting wider sales operations as needed

  * No cold calling or sales targets involved

Requirements for the Sales Administrator:

  * Previous experience in a sales administration role

  * Comfortable working in a busy office environment; manufacturing experience is an advantage

  * Strong Microsoft Office skills

  * Excellent communication and customer service abilities

  * High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail

  * Confident handling large volumes of data and inputting information

  * Experience with Sage 50 or SAP is desirable

Salary, Hours and Company Benefits for the Sales Administrator:

  * £28,000 - £35,000 depending on experience

  * Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm

  * Fully office based in Partridge Green

  * 23 days annual leave + bank holidays + closed over Christmas

  * Free onsite parking
