I'm working with a highly established and innovative engineering business in High Wycombe who are looking for a confident, outgoing and people-focused Sales Executive to join their growing team.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys sales, loves speaking to people and wants to build a long-term career with a successful technical business.

And the best bit? You'll be working with warm leads and an existing customer base.

Your customers already have the company's equipment installed - your job is to build the relationship, understand their needs and introduce them to the maintenance packages available.

You'll have a strong product behind you, plenty of opportunity to earn, full training and a business that genuinely wants to see you progress.

📞 What will you actually be doing?

This isn't a desk-bound admin role. You'll be speaking to customers, building relationships and creating sales opportunities.

You'll be:

Contacting existing customers by phone and email

Discussing their maintenance requirements

Identifying opportunities to introduce maintenance packages

Following up warm leads and progressing opportunities through to sale

Preparing and sending quotations

Negotiating and closing business

Booking maintenance services

Following up with customers after works are completed

Handling customer queries and resolving issues where appropriate

Keeping CRM records up to date

Tracking your performance and working towards quarterly targets

✨ Who are we looking for?

We're looking for someone with personality.

Someone who is naturally positive, confident and sociable. Someone who doesn't mind picking up the phone, enjoys having conversations and gets a buzz from turning an opportunity into a sale.

You'll ideally have:

Previous sales experience (technical experience isn't essential)

Excellent communication skills

Confidence speaking to customers over the phone

A motivated and resilient approach

Strong organisation and time management

A genuine customer-first attitude

Confidence using Microsoft Office

CRM experience such as Salesforce would be advantageous

Sage experience would be beneficial

A positive, energetic and ambitious personality

Don't have engineering experience? No problem. Full training will be provided.

What matters most is that you're good with people, commercially minded and hungry to succeed.
