Sales Order Processor

Location: Partridge Green
Salary: £27,000–£28,000

Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Sales Order Processor to join their team in Partridge Green. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and order processing experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are processed efficiently and correctly, while supporting wider invoicing and reconciliation activities. This role would suit someone with previous experience using Sage and other ERP systems, and who is confident handling high volumes of data with precision.

Key Responsibilities

  * Accurately process customer orders using Sage

  * Ensure all order information is entered and maintained correctly within internal systems

  * Liaise with internal departments to resolve order queries and discrepancies

  * Support invoicing processes, ensuring timely and accurate documentation

  * Assist with reconciliation tasks and help investigate any account or payment issues

  * Maintain up-to-date records and ensure all documentation is filed correctly

  * Provide a high level of administrative support to the wider team

  * Help improve the efficiency and accuracy of order processing procedures

Requirements

  * Previous experience in a Sales Order Processor, Order Administrator, or similar role

  * Experience working with ERP systems

  * Strong working knowledge of Sage

  * Experience supporting invoicing and reconciliation processes

  * Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

  * Strong organisational and time management skills

  * Confident communicator with the ability to work well across teams

  * Good IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office

Desirable

  * Experience working within a busy office, finance, or operations environment

  * A proactive and problem-solving approach

  * Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
