With a 27,000 sq. ft. factory and state-of-the-art technology, we pride ourselves on delivering “any style of door in any RAL sprayed colour within 10 working days.”
 
We’re now looking for a Sales Order Processor to join our dynamic office team and help us continue opening new doors for our customers.
 
The Role
As a Sales Order Processor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring customer orders are handled with accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism. You’ll work closely with the Customer Services Team and liaise with production to make sure every order is processed smoothly.
 
Key Responsibilities

Process customer orders using Business Micros software
Load all received orders on the day of receipt
Handle 40+ orders per day with accuracy, supporting the team target of 100+ orders daily
Confirm orders to customers within 24 hours
Identify and resolve discrepancies within 12 hours of receipt
Manage correspondence, complaints, and queries promptly and professionally
Contribute to continuous improvement of workflows and processes

Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A proactive, customer-focused mindset
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Previous experience in order processing or administration is desirable

Location & Hours

Based at Universal Composite Doors, Middleton Way, Fen Drayton, Cambridgeshire (CB24 4SU)
Full-time hours
This role is a fixed-term maternity cover position, expected to last between 6 and 12 months.
