Job Description

Job Title: School Caretaker (Full-Time & Part-Time)
 Location: Liverpool
 Pay: £17-£18 per hour
 Start Date: ASAP

Are you a reliable, hands-on individual looking for a rewarding role within a school environment? We are currently recruiting School Caretakers for a number of primary and secondary schools across Liverpool, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Opening and closing the school premises
General maintenance and basic repairs
Ensuring the site is clean, secure, and well-maintained
Managing health & safety checks and compliance
Supporting with setting up rooms for events and activities
Liaising with contractors and school staff when required

Requirements:

Previous caretaking, site management, or maintenance experience (preferably within a school setting)
Basic DIY and maintenance skills
Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
Reliable, punctual, and proactive attitude
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR SPENCER CLARKE GROUP

Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained.

You must be willing to attend a registration interview.All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date
