We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable science teacher to work in a secondary school in York. We are open to both early career teachers and experienced teachers. 

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and effective science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans that meet curriculum requirements.
Assess, monitor, and report on students' progress and attainment.
Create a stimulating and safe learning environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.
Support students' academic and personal development through individualised instruction and guidance.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience teaching science at the secondary level.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
