Teaching Personnel is recruiting an experienced Secondary School Business Manager to work within a thriving secondary school in Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and motivated individual to become a key member of the school's leadership team.

⚠️ Essential Requirements

Previous experience working as a School Business Manager within a UK school is ESSENTIAL. Applications without this experience will not be considered.
A willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS Certificate with Children's Barred List Check (or already hold one on the DBS Update Service).
Strong knowledge of school finance, HR, compliance, and operational management.
Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the school's financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
Manage HR administration, recruitment, contracts, and personnel records.
Oversee the management of school premises, facilities, and health & safety.
Ensure compliance with safeguarding, statutory regulations, and school policies.
Manage procurement and supplier contracts to ensure value for money.
Support the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team with strategic business planning.
Line manage administrative and support staff where appropriate.
Build and maintain positive relationships with governors, external agencies, and stakeholders.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
