Job Description

Carmichael UK are working with a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering a major highways project in Gloucestershire.

We are seeking an experienced Section Engineer with a strong background in earthworks, drainage and landscaping packages to support delivery on a high-profile scheme.

Key Responsibilities

Lead engineering delivery across earthworks, drainage and landscaping packages
	
Oversee bulk earthworks (cut & fill, embankments, formation)
	
Manage delivery of deep drainage, culverts and attenuation systems
	
Coordinate landscaping and environmental works
	
Supervise Site Engineers and subcontractors
	
Ensure works are delivered in line with programme, quality and HSE standards
	
Manage ITPs, QA documentation and as-built records

Requirements

Proven experience as a Section Engineer / Senior Engineer on highways or major infrastructure projects
	
Strong background in earthworks, drainage and/or landscaping
	
Experience working with Tier 1 contractors
	
Strong knowledge of engineering standards, QA processes and site delivery
	
Ability to manage teams and coordinate multiple work packages
	
CSCS card and relevant qualifications
	
Right to work in the UK
