Job Description

Carmichael UK are working with a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering a major highways project in Gloucestershire.

We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to support delivery across key earthworks, drainage and landscaping packages on a high-profile scheme.

Key Responsibilities

Setting out and surveying across earthworks, drainage and landscaping works
	
Supporting delivery of bulk earthworks (cut & fill, embankments, formation)
	
Assisting with drainage installations including culverts and attenuation systems
	
Supporting landscaping and environmental works packages
	
Ensuring works are delivered in line with designs, specifications and programme
	
Managing QA documentation, ITPs and as-built records
	
Liaising with subcontractors and site teams to support smooth delivery

Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways or major infrastructure projects
	
Strong experience in earthworks, drainage and/or landscaping packages
	
Competent in setting out using Total Station / GPS (Trimble or Leica)
	
Knowledge of QA processes, site documentation and engineering standards
	
Experience working within Tier 1 contractor environments preferred
	
CSCS card and relevant qualifications
	
Right to work in the UK
