Ourt client, a top regional Contractor in the UK are seeking a freelance Section Engineer to join their team on a major Road Construction scheme in Colchester to focus on the Highways, Drainage and structures for this scheme.
Daily duties will include assisting with the preparation of RAMs and Task Briefs, Overseeing Engineering staff on site, client liaison and Issuing permits to dig.
To be considered, you will have a minimum of an HNC in Civil Engineering and ideally hold SMSTS, CSCS and have the below experience:
* Highways experience including drainage, structures, kerbing and surfacing
* Understanding of ITP’s and willingness to complete required paperwork
* Raising of TQ’s for onward client answer.
* If possible have EUSR CAT 1 to enable completion of permits to dig. Experience of using Cable avoidance tools such as CAT4 of vLoc3Pro
In return, a top day rate is on offer which is paid OUTSIDE IR35 and comes with an immediate start.
