This role involves supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and develop positive relationships in a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs.

Assist teachers in planning and delivering tailored interventions.

Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.

Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.

Work closely with parents, carers, and external professionals to support student progress.
Requirements

Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs (school-based or similar setting).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to remain calm, patient, and resilient in challenging situations.

A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential.
*
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA, SEN training) are desirable but not essential.
