This well-established setting supports secondary-aged students with autism (ASC) and a range of additional cognitive and neurological needs, placing student wellbeing and inclusion at the heart of everything they do.

The Role
 As a SEN Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences. You will lead pre-planned lessons, ensuring students stay engaged in a calm, structured, and supportive environment. When not covering classes, you will work alongside teaching staff to support pupils in accessing the curriculum and achieving their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-prepared lessons to secondary students
Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Support students with autism and additional needs to stay focused and regulated
Assist teachers with classroom activities and differentiated learning
Promote positive routines, independence, and engagement
Provide clear feedback on student progress and behaviourAbout You:

Experience working with young people (education or SEN preferred)
Confident leading a classroom independently
Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Calm, patient, and adaptable approach
Understanding of autism and SEN (desirable but not essential)What's on Offer:
