EYFS SEN Teacher

Haslingden Area | September 2026 Start | MPS-UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience)

About the Role

Veritas Education are working in partnership with a highly regarded, inclusive primary school in the Haslingden area to recruit a dedicated EYFS SEN Teacher for September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school that is widely recognised for its nurturing approach, inclusive ethos, and commitment to supporting every child as an individual. You will take the lead in supporting pupils within the Early Years setting who have a range of additional needs, delivering tailored provision that enables every child to access learning and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver adapted EYFS curriculum to meet a range of SEN needs
Create a structured, nurturing classroom environment that supports early development
Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, and external professionals
Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs/EHCP targets)
Use a range of strategies to support children with: 
Autism (ASD)
Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN)
Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH)
Moderate to severe learning difficulties
Build strong relationships with parents and carers

The Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in EYFS and/or SEN settings
Strong understanding of early childhood development and SEND frameworks
Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
Confident working as part of a multidisciplinary team
Passionate about making a genuine difference to children with additional needs
