About the role
Peterborough City Council is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Progress Coach to join our Study Programme and Alternative Provision Team within the Special Educational Needs (SEN) Department.
This rewarding role focuses on coordinating and supporting learners with an Education, Health and Care Plan, ensuring they receive the guidance, advocacy, and structure they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and lead EHCP annual reviews
Provide an efficient, professional, and informative administrative service within the Alternative Provision team
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with learners
Build positive partnerships with schools and external stakeholders
Act as a key communication link between learners, wellbeing officers, tutors, and department managers
Assess, monitor, support, and accurately record learner progress
Work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver timely, high-quality outcomes for young peopleAbout You
