We’re working with a warm, community-driven primary school in Winterbourne that puts kindness, inclusion, and pupil wellbeing right at the heart of everything. This is a full-time SEN Learning Support Assistant role, supporting a primary-aged pupil on a 1:1 basis, helping them feel safe, understood, and ready to learn.

Your role
You’ll be working 1:1 with a pupil who needs a bit of extra support to access learning and navigate the school day.
Day to day, you’ll:
Provide tailored 1:1 support in and out of the classroom
Use patience, empathy, and consistency to build a strong relationship
Support emotional regulation and wellbeing using structured approaches
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt learning
Help create a safe, predictable environment where your pupil can thrive
What we’re looking for
Experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in a primary setting
A calm, nurturing approach, you’re the steady hand in the room
Confidence supporting behaviour and emotional needs
A genuine passion for helping children feel seen, heard, and supported

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
