SEN TA – Primary School – Southwark Location – ASAP Start

The Role – SEN TA

As an SEN TA, you will work closely with teachers and the inclusion team to support pupils with a range of needs—including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and learning challenges—through tailored 1:1 and small-group interventions. As an SEN TA ou will help pupils stay engaged, regulated, and confident in the classroom while assisting with routines, behaviour support, and daily learning activities. As an SEN TA you will be using effective strategies and resources, you will promote communication, independence, and progress, as well as support teachers with lesson preparation and creating an inclusive environment. The ideal SEN TA will have experience working with SEND pupils, be patient, nurturing, and proactive, and demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills. Psychology Graduates seeking school experience are also encouraged to apply.
