About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join a supportive school in East London. The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a proven track record of working with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties).
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual needs.
* Support students with ASD and PMLD to achieve their learning goals.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider SEN team.
* Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Requirements:
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – Essential.
* Previous experience teaching students with SEN, specifically ASD and PMLD.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* Passion for supporting vulnerable learners and promoting inclusion.
