SEN Teaching Assistant | Waltham Forest | £82.14-£100 per day | ASAP Start | Full-Time

Reeson Education is recruiting an experienced and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Waltham Forest. This is an exciting opportunity for an SEN Teaching Assistant who is confident supporting pupils with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, or behavioural challenges.

About the SEN Teaching Assistant Role:

Location: Waltham Forest (Walthamstow, Chingford, Leyton)

Start Date: ASAP

Pay: £82.14-£100 per day (PAYE)

Contract: Full-time, term time only

SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN

Assist pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and classroom engagement

Adapt learning activities under teacher and SENCO direction

Support behaviour strategies and encourage positive learning routines

Help create an inclusive environment where children feel safe and motivated

Requirements for the SEN Teaching Assistant:

Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting children with SEN

Understanding of autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs

A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to follow support plans and work collaboratively with staff
