A supportive and inclusive primary school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision/unit. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with children who have a range of additional needs, helping them access learning, build confidence, and develop key life skills.
Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored support to pupils within the school's SEN unit
Assist with individual and small-group learning activities
Implement personalised learning and behaviour strategies
Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation and social skills
Work collaboratively with the SENCO, class teachers and external professionals
Create a safe, positive and engaging learning environment
Support with personal care where required (training provided)
About You
Experience working with children with SEND (e.g., autism, ADHD, speech & language needs, or learning difficulties)
Patient, empathetic and committed to inclusive education
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Adaptable, resilient, and able to respond calmly to challenging situations
Passionate about helping children thrive and celebrate their achievements
