Job Description

Can you effectively support and engage pupils in their learning?

Do you have strong behaviour management skills to help maintain a positive classroom environment?

Do you have experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

I am currently recruiting for a male TA, to support a child with specific needs, including ADHD and ASD, this young person has a particular family background that means he needs to have a male member of staff support him. This is a 1:1 SEND TA role, full time and long-term. If you have experience in supporting young people with SEND needs and would be happy to support a young person in Year 6 - please do apply.

SEND experience is a must for this role, particularly experience supporting pupils with Autism/ASD, SEMH, or other learning needs—but a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a nurturing approach are just as important.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

Experience working with children (school-based or other relevant settings)
A caring, patient and supportive approach
Good behaviour management and communication skills
Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, or full days
