SEN Teaching Assistant
Primary School

  * Provided tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

  * Implemented individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies to promote engagement, independence, and emotional regulation.

  * Supported pupils with communication difficulties using structured approaches and visual aids.

  * Assisted with personal care, including nappy changing and hygiene routines, ensuring dignity, safeguarding, and adherence to school policies at all times.

  * Worked closely with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to monitor progress and adapt support strategies.

  * Recorded observations and contributed to assessments and progress reports
