SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time | Moston | May Start

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Moston, who are seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time from May. This role runs 8:30am – 3:30pm and centres on providing tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs through both 1:1 and small group intervention.

Your Role Will Include

Delivering focused support to pupils with SEN on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering personalised learning activities
Supporting the implementation and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Helping to maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
Working closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to track progress
Adapting resources and strategies to meet the evolving needs of each pupil
What We’re Looking For

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Previous experience supporting children with SEN
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare
Level 2 Safeguarding qualification (or willingness to complete training)
