 Monday - Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
 Pay: £90-£110 per day

We are currently working with a welcoming private secondary school in Shenfield that is seeking a compassionate Teaching Assistant to support students both within the classroom and within their dedicated SEN unit. This Shenfield school prides itself on small class sizes, a nurturing learning environment and excellent pastoral care for every student.

This Teaching Assistant role in Shenfield offers the opportunity to work closely with teachers and SEN staff to provide targeted support for students with additional learning needs. The Shenfield school values every Teaching Assistant as a key part of the support team, ensuring staff are given guidance, training and the resources needed to help students thrive academically and socially.

Job Overview:
 * This Shenfield private secondary school caters for students aged 11-16.
 * Full-time Teaching Assistant position, Monday - Friday.
 * Provide classroom support and 1:1 assistance to students within the SEN unit and mainstream lessons in Shenfield.
 * Support students with additional learning needs, helping them access the curriculum.
 * Work closely with the SENCO, teachers and pastoral team to support student development.
 * Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.

What we're looking for:
 * Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or supporting young people with SEN.
 * A patient, caring and proactive Teaching Assistant who enjoys supporting secondary students.
 * Strong communication and teamwork skills.
 * A genuine passion for helping students build confidence and independence.
 * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
