We are currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant based in Plymouth, supporting students with a range of additional needs and challenging behaviour.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work with young people who are currently not accessing mainstream education, helping to re-engage them with learning and providing consistent, tailored support to ensure they can access education in a meaningful way.
The Role:
Supporting students with SEN and challenging behaviour
Helping pupils re-engage with education in and out of the classroom
Building positive, consistent relationships with learners
Working closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams
Term time only role with a long-term focus
Opportunity for continuity through to September 2026
Requirements:
Must be able to drive (essential due to placement needs)
Willing to obtain or already hold business insurance
Experience supporting children or young people (SEN/behaviour preferred)
Calm, resilient and proactive approach
Passion for making a real difference in education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
