The Education Network is recruiting an experienced and committed SEND Teacher to work in one of our partner schools in Leeds. This role is ideal for a dedicated practitioner who is passionate about supporting pupils with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
About the Role The successful SEND Teacher will:
Plan and deliver purposeful, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD and communication difficulties.
Provide a calm, supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Work to EHCP outcomes and implement personalised support strategies.
Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, the SENCO and external professionals.
Use assessment to track progress and adapt teaching accordingly.
Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff and families.What We Are Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS).
Experience teaching learners with SEND in a mainstream or specialist setting.
Strong behaviour management skills and a nurturing, adaptable approach.
Excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
