Job Description

SEND Teacher – Full-time, daily supply from as soon as possible These flexible opportunities are ideal for SEND Teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different primary, secondary and complex school settings in Trafford and the surrounding areas.Duties as SEND Teacher:
Deliver tailored lessons to pupils with a range of special educational needs
Work closely with support staff and SENCOs to implement individual education plans
Create inclusive and engaging learning environments that promote progress and independence
Monitor pupil development and contribute to reviews and target setting
Collaborate with parents, carers and external agencies to support pupil outcomes
Uphold safeguarding and welfare standards at all timesIdeal SEND Teacher:
Holds QTS teaching qualification
Has recent experience teaching pupils with SEND in a primary school setting
Demonstrates strong understanding of a range of learning needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH
Is patient, adaptable and confident working with pupils with complex needs
