The Role
You will be supporting pupils with a range of complex needs, helping them access education in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. This includes both classroom-based support and assisting with daily care routines.

Key Responsibilities

Providing tailored support to children with complex learning needs
Assisting with personal care in a respectful and dignified manner
Supporting sensory activities and interventions
Safely carrying out moving and handling procedures
Administering medication where required (following training and guidelines)
Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staffEssential Requirements

Hoist training (or willingness to obtain)
Confidence in providing personal care
Experience or understanding of SEND environments
Skills in moving and handling, sensory support, and medication administration
A calm, patient, and proactive approach
