Senior Architectural Technologist

Location: North West Essex

Salary: £40-46,000

A well-established architectural consultancy is seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to join its experienced and collaborative team in North West Essex. With a strong reputation for delivering creative, practical, and cost-effective design solutions across residential, commercial, and heritage sectors, the practice offers an excellent opportunity to take a leading role in project delivery and technical design within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities
* Lead the technical design and delivery of projects across all RIBA stages
* Produce detailed drawing packages, specifications, and construction information
* Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders
* Manage planning applications and building regulations submissions
* Oversee project timelines, ensuring delivery to programme and budget
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
* Attend site visits and project meetings as required
* Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and industry standards

Requirements
* Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist within the UK
* Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
* Proficiency in AutoCAD 
* Experience across residential and or commercial sectors
* Ability to manage multiple projects independently
* Strong communication and coordination skills
* High level of technical accuracy and attention to detail
* Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or similar
