Senior Bid Writer

Hybrid – Horsham, West Sussex (2-3 days office)

Up to £70,000 Basic + Discretionary Bonus + 25 Days Holiday plus your Birthday Off + Private Healthcare + Pension

Are you an experienced Bid Writer looking for a role where you can take real ownership of written content, working within a close-knit, supportive team in a business that genuinely values its people?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist compliance services business operating across fire safety and life safety systems, delivering design, installation, maintenance and monitoring services to public sector and social housing clients across the UK. As part of their continued growth, they are looking for a Senior Bid Writer to play a key role in their work winning function, working closely with a Bid Coordinator and Bid Manager in a tight, collaborative team.

Key Duties

  * Produce high-quality written responses across PQQ, ITT and RFP submissions within public sector and social housing frameworks

  * Work with the leadership team to develop clear win strategies and compelling win themes aligned to client requirements

  * Manage storyboard sessions and lead the development of qualitative question responses

  * Liaise with subject matter experts to develop case studies and reusable bid content

  * Maintain and improve the bid library, driving consistency and quality across all submissions

  * Ensure compliant, on-time submissions and coordinate client presentations where required

  * Drive continuous improvement through post-bid reviews and KPI tracking

Experience Required

  * Proven Bid Writer with experience in either social housing, fire compliance, property services or a related public sector environment

  * Strong written ability with experience producing compelling, structured tender responses

  * Comfortable working to tight deadlines and managing multiple submissions simultaneously

  * Willing to commute to Horsham 2-3 days per week
