Job Description

Senior Construction Manager – M&E | BESS site| Fife 🚨

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Construction Manager with a strong M&E background to join a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Fife.

📍 Location: FK10
📅 Start: September 2026 – ongoing contract
⏰ Hours: 10 hours paid per day
💷 Payment: CIS available

We’re looking for a senior construction professional with experience delivering large-scale M&E projects, ideally within BESS, substations, power, renewable energy or major infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  * Lead and manage M&E construction activities on site

  * Coordinate electrical, mechanical, civil and commissioning teams

  * Manage subcontractors and site resources

  * Ensure works are delivered safely, to programme and specification

  * Monitor progress, quality and construction performance

  * Review drawings, RAMS and project documentation

  * Liaise with the Project Manager, client, engineers and subcontractors

  * Support testing, commissioning and handover

Ideal candidates
✅ Senior Construction Management experience
✅ Strong M&E construction background
✅ Experience on BESS, substations, power or renewable energy projects
✅ Proven subcontractor and site team management experience
✅ Strong understanding of HSEQ, RAMS and construction programmes
✅ Excellent communication and leadership skills

✅ SMSTS, relevant M&E qualifications and experience working on major energy infrastructure projects.
