The Role
 We are seeking a Senior Estimator to join our team and lead the estimation process for a variety of general contracting projects. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for providing accurate, competitive, and commercially sound estimates, supporting the pre-construction team, and contributing to successful project wins.

As Senior Estimator - General Contracting, you will be responsible for:

Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial, industrial, and educational projects
Analysing tender documents, drawings, and specifications to produce competitive bids
Managing subcontractor enquiries, quotations, and supplier pricing
Collaborating with the design and commercial teams to assess risk and value engineering opportunities
Presenting and explaining estimates to clients and internal stakeholders
Continuously reviewing and improving estimation processes and toolsThe Ideal Candidate
 The successful Senior Estimator will have:

Significant experience in general contracting, preferably within commercial, industrial, or education sectors
Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs
Proven experience preparing detailed tenders and estimates
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
A proactive and organised approach with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Relevant professional qualifications (MRICS or equivalent) desirable but not essentialWhat's on Offer
