Senior Fire & Security Engineer

LOCATION - Bury, Manchester

Up to £45,000 + Overtime + Benefits

Alecto Recruitment is looking to hear from an experienced Senior Fire & Security Engineer who is looking for a role where their technical ability is genuinely valued.

We're looking for someone with a strong background across Fire & Security, ideally with solid commissioning experience, who can work independently, deal confidently with customers and take ownership of their work.

What You'll Be Doing

Installing, servicing and maintaining a range of Fire & Security systems.
Commissioning and handing over systems to customers.
Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs.
Working across Fire Alarm, Intruder, CCTV and Access Control systems.
Taking ownership of jobs from installation through to completion.
Liaising directly with customers and site contacts.
Completing service reports, commissioning documentation and relevant paperwork.
Supporting junior engineers and sharing technical knowledge where required.

What We're Looking For

Strong experience within the Fire & Security industry.
Proven experience with Fire Alarm and Security systems.
Commissioning experience is highly desirable.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability.
Experience across multiple disciplines would be advantageous.
Relevant qualifications such as FIA, BAFE, ECS or equivalent.
Full UK driving licence.
Someone confident working independently and directly with customers.
