They are currently seeking a talented, enthusiastic Senior ICM Flood Modeller who is committed to overseeing a team of designers, engineers, and modelling experts within the flood risk management sector, based in the thriving, diverse Capital City of London.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior ICM Flood Modeller include:
Overseeing detailed technical work involving ICM hydraulic modelling, data analysis, GIS, and reporting
Producing high-quality technical work for the Flood Risk Team
Managing a team of colleagues, with a commitment to supporting their Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
Liaising closely with a range of clients and stakeholders at all points during project delivery
Representing the company at meetings and during other events and activities
Leading several projects simultaneously, recognising opportunities for further business development
Overseeing a variety of individual project aspects, including budgets, timeframes, and resourcing requirements, delegating work as appropriate
Required skills and experience for the role of Senior ICM Flood Modeller include:
A Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Geography, Environmental Management, Civil Engineering, or similar
Considerable experience of developing flood risk projects (particularly Integrated Catchment Modelling), and undertaking flood risk analyses/assessments for planning, development, and design
Excellent working knowledge of Infoworks ICM, with extensive experience of 1D and 2D modelling
Experience of leading and mentoring other colleagues
Demonstrable experience of liaising closely with a range of clients and other stakeholders across the public and private sectors
Proficiency in GIS, including software packages such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or MapInfo
Familiarity with other software systems, such as Flood Modeller Pro, TUFLOW, etc.
Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior ICM Flood Modeller include:
Possess Chartered Status (or actively working to attain this)
Experience of undertaking FEH hydrological assessments
Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
