Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team in our Toddler Room, based in Andover. This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week over 5 days, between 7:45am and 5:45pm.

As part of our vibrant and nurturing nursery, you will play a key role in supporting the learning and development of children aged 2–3 years. You’ll help create a stimulating, safe, and caring environment where every child can thrive. We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to providing outstanding early years care and education.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging activities that meet the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements.

  * Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support each child’s individual needs.

  * Ensure all safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are consistently followed.

  * Maintain accurate observations and assessments to track children’s progress.

  * Work collaboratively as part of a supportive and professional team.

Requirements:

  * Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.

  * At least 2–3 years of experience working in a nursery or early years setting.

  * A sound understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.

  * Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  * A warm, caring, and proactive approach to supporting young children’s learning and wellbeing.

Salary: £13.50 – £14.10 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience).
