Job Description

As part of the in-house Pensions team, you can make a real difference by supporting the delivery of the Pensions service offering to our officers and staff. The Senior Pensions Analyst position plays an essential role in the BAU, project and service improvement delivery for the in-house pension function. It provides support to the Pensions Manager and SME lead on all pension matters related to BAU, ensuring compliance with the standards as laid down by legislation and external agencies, in line with pensions strategy, service offering and governance requirements. Key Responsibilities: * Supporting the team in delivering specialist pension related advice and technical guidance which supports organisational decision making, service improvement and stakeholder liaison. * Managing the day-to-day BAU and project activities within the in-house pensions function, ensuring alignment with strategy and compliance requirements. * Engaging with internal and external stakeholder to ensure the employer responsibilities are fulfilled in support of the effective delivery of the pensions service offering. * Providing expert support on pensions matters as a single point of contact to the wider organisation. * Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, monitoring risks, and supporting governance frameworks. * Driving continuous service improvement initiatives to enhance member experience. * Analysing financial returns and prepare reporting and delivery of management information. * Supporting budget planning, forecasting and financial oversight related to pension service delivery. * Managing the content delivery of member communications, presentations, and engagement materials. * Leading the analysis for response to complaints, complex cases and escalations, ensuring appropriate resolutions and adherence to procedures. We need you to have: * Desirable experience working within an in-house pension * Relevant Pensions Management Institute (PMI) qualifications. * Specialist knowledge of relevant UK pensions legislation, and pension tax issues. * Experience of developing and delivery of service improvement. * Proven project management skills. * Educated to HND level (or equivalent).
