We are now recruiting for a Senior Project Manager / Project Director to take full operational responsibility for a major £50m MOD project based in Northampton.

About the Company

This contractor specialises in public sector projects across Education, Healthcare, Leisure, and Defence. They are well-regarded for their collaborative approach, commitment to quality, and long-standing client relationships. Their teams are supported, empowered, and encouraged to deliver excellence on every project.

The Role

As the operational lead on a flagship MOD scheme, you will:

    Oversee the full lifecycle of a £50m project

  * 

    Drive delivery, performance, and programme control

  * 

    Lead client engagement and ensure exceptional communication

  * 

    Work closely with an established, high-performing senior leadership team

Ideal Candidate

  * 

    Experience within the Defence/MOD sector is advantageous but not essential

  * 

    Proven track record delivering large-scale construction projects (£30m+)

  * 

    Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  * 

    Ability to drive performance, motivate teams, and ensure high standards on site
