Senior Quantity Surveyor

£60-80k + car allowance
This leading international contractor is looking to add a Senior Quantity Surveyor to its Power & Renewables team in Scotland and the successful candidate will lead commercial activities on a large substation project just outside of Glasgow.
Candidates with a civils and utilities background are welcome to apply, while any Substation, Grid Connection, Battery Storage, Oil & Gas orientated project experience will be an advantage. Experience working on £75m+ schemes is essential.
With real opportunity to grow their own team, the ideal candidate will have experience in leading and developing junior team members.
Candidates should have the following -
- 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics / Quantity Surveying
- 5+ years' experience in a similar capacity
- Knowledge of contract conditions and their applications
- Excellent Communication/Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent Record Keeping and Administration Skills
- Ideally a proven track record in major HV works
- Experience in a lead role on a £70m+ project
