Job Description

Reginald Gray is proud to partner with a newer addition to our client portfolio, a market-leading contractor specialising in prime residential projects. They are seeking to appoint a top-tier Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead on a landmark new build residential project valued at approximately £13m, situated on one of the most high-profile plots of land in the country.

This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a prestigious, high-specification project with immediate responsibility, while also playing a key role in the longer-term growth of the business. As the project portfolio in the area expands, there is a clear path to build a team around this position, offering significant career progression and leadership potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Lead the commercial management of a £13m new build residential project

  * Manage costs from pre-construction through to final account

  * Procurement and management of subcontractors and suppliers

  * Preparation, negotiation, and agreement of valuations and variations

  * Reporting and maintaining financial control across the project

  * Work closely with the client, design team, and site management to deliver exceptional results

Requirements:

  * Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within prime residential construction

  * Strong background in managing high-value, complex projects

  * Exceptional commercial awareness and attention to detail

  * Leadership skills with the ability to build and manage a future team

  * Experience on high-profile or bespoke projects is highly desirable
