Senior Quantity Surveyor
 Bristol-based various projects   
£70,000 - £80,000 + Car Allowance 
Private Medical Scheme

 Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to join a fast-growing and ambitious business?

 This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in managing the commercial performance of projects across a growing portfolio. You will work closely with project teams, providing commercial and contractual expertise while maintaining strong relationships with clients.

 As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of projects from tender through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently while maximising cash flow and profitability.
  
Key Responsibilities
  
Manage project cost plans, estimates, and tender documentation 
Oversee procurement schedules and subcontractor engagement 
Conduct site measurements and take-offs 
Manage subcontractor and supplier valuations, payments, and cashflow 
Attend and lead client meetings, valuations, and value engineering workshops 
Prepare and review contract documentation and tender returns 
Implement and manage key subcontract packages 
Produce CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations) and report to senior management 
Identify and mitigate commercial risks 
Ensure compliance with construction contracts and supply chain obligations 
Support and mentor junior staff 
Maintain project documentation in line with ISO standards 
Manage multiple projects simultaneously   Requirements
  
Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline 
Minimum 5 GCSEs including Maths and English 
Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally within refurbishment or construction 
Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and commercial procedures 
High level of IT literacy including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint 
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
