Senior Support Worker
Location: Lymington, SO41 8NE
Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour (Umbrella)
Job Type: Temporary , Ongoing
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently recruiting for experienced Senior Support Workers to join a dedicated team supporting young people across a range of settings, including classroom environments, structured educational activities, and off-site experiences.

This role is focused on supporting young people to develop independence, confidence, and essential life skills through both physical and emotional support. You will play a key role in creating a safe, stable, and nurturing environment while acting as a positive role model.

Key responsibilities include:

  * Providing high-quality care and support to young people

  * Supporting participation in educational and daily living activities

  * Promoting independence and personal development

  * Maintaining a safe and supportive environment at all times

  * Working effectively as part of a team to ensure the wellbeing of all young people

Shift Pattern

  * Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (8:00am – 8:00pm)

  * Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday (8:00am – 8:00pm)

Requirements

  * Previous experience in a Senior Support Worker or similar role

  * Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  * A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach

  * Ability to work effectively within a team

  * Commitment to maintaining high standards of care and professionalism
